Decided to take a break from cutting and chopping for tomorrow's dinner and wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving. I know I have so much to be thankful for. Why, I'm even enjoying the preparations. I will be spending the day with my son and his family and my daughter and her family. What could be better. I also wanted to show you Sophie Snowberry completed. She is a half-moon shaped pillow. Isn't she just too cute. Good job Patty!!
Here's the Hoosier. Just don't look at anything else. My kitchen is "under construction" and isn't looking its bets. However, I think the Hoosier looks fantastic. I'm going to close now and get back to work. Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!!
So happy to have found you this morning. Love your Hoosier cabinet. It looks great. I love rug hooking and have been "hooking" about 5 years now. I will visit again.
I learned rug hooking in 1999 and taught my two daughters Lisa and Missy. We Three Rug Hooking was born. I really enjoyed working with my girls. That came to an end on the evening of March 4,2005 when Missy went into premature labor and after an emergency C-section gave birth to little Brady. At 2 lbs 13 oz Brady had a rough time. He spent 4-1/2 months in various hospitals. He underwent 4 surgeries on his little head, struggled with bad lungs, had meningitis and pneumonia. It was a very hard time. Brady's doctors believed he would have developmental problems and lung problems, but our God had different plans for Brady. At age 4 he is a perfect "little" dynamo, as active as any 4-year-old. About that same time Missy found out that her husband, Lane, had a recurrence of his malignant brain tumor. In September of 2008 Lane lost his brave battle and went home to be with the Lord. As for Lisa, she stayed with the business until about 2006 when she divorced and with two daughters had to also get a "real job." She is now happily remarried and working part time. She helps me with my rug binding chores. I also do medical transcription at home part time.
So happy to have found you this morning.
