Freeform mat completed

Here is a picture of a rather small mat that I just completed.  It measures 11 x 22 and makes a really nice table mat.  It started out with the brown areas.  I really wasn't sure where to go from there.  It is the type of design where you can still set some things on it and not lose sight of what the design really is.  It is also a great way to use up some leftover strips.  It is more muted than it appears on my screen.  I think it is time for a new camera.  Click on My Etsy below where it will be listed soon.  I'm also working on a larger rug for spring and am just giving you a sneak peak.  I started it a while back but have made several changes.....changes in wool, changes in the basic you can see by all the Xs and drawing changes on the linen.  I hope to get a lot done over the weekend, but then I'm sure you know all about "the best laid plans."
After several changes, I might still be making more.  On my monitor the colors seem a bit brighter than they really are.

What's everybody else working on?  I always find it fun to start something new once the holidays are over and all the decorations are down.

Tomorrow Karen and Sharon (AKA the twins) will be coming to do some hooking and watch The Help.  I hear it is really good.....can't wait.

Have a terrific weekend,
